2008 KASSW Conference Highlights

The 2008 KASSW Conference with Dr Adolph Brown, III, was an awesome success!! We met on Friday, October 24, 2008 at the Louisville Marriott East. Dr. Browns electrifying message resonates with educators, pupil service providers and all child-serving professionals. He is a master story teller, finding humor and meaning in the most unlikely situations, all the while persuading us to love our students unconditionally.

Some of the comments from the evaluations were: Dr Brown was a very effective, phenomenal speaker. He was refreshing and renewed my spirit; entertaining and motivating. He was a dynamic speaker and his material and presentation should be incorporated across the state. We had an informational, inspirational speaker who gave us a stress release. The speaker was excellent, real and challenged me to move towards more excellent ways to relate to the children that I serve. Everything was GREAT! People also felt the afternoon panel discussion was very informative and stimulating.
